The support that comes from running a startup business in the Atlantic region is world class.  Sandbox ERP has had the fortunate opportunity of working with many great organizations, gaining critical feedback and perspective along the way.  Atlantic Fintech is one of those great organizations.

We never saw ourselves as being a "Fintech" organization.  What we learned was that this was common, and that we had a product that could really benefit from putting a fintech opportunities lens on ourselves.  Our strategy for payments has changed since joining Atlantic Fintech, we are working on a revenue split opportunity with a pay-tech partner and will evolve the integration over time. 

We've met some great founders building incredible tech for the industry.  We've been introduced to industry-specific investors that understand the potential for our product and our future.  We've gained insight and education from attending sessions with some real heavyweights across North America.

Our journey with Atlantic Fintech has been transformative. The invaluable connections, insights, and opportunities we've encountered have significantly shaped our path forward. Retail Payments Activities Act Registration opens November 1, 2024

Starting in November 2024, payment service providers (PSPs) in Canada and abroad will be required to register with the Bank of Canada. Under the Retail Payment Activities Act (RPAA) and the Retail Payment Activities Regulations (RPAR), the Bank will supervise PSPs to help encourage confidence in the safety and reliability of their services and protect users from certain risks.  

The registration window for PSPs is open from November 1-15, 2024. Compliance with this new regulatory framework is essential to continue providing payment services to end users.

Weymedia: Growing a Successful Fintech in Atlantic Canada

In this episode, Stephen and Maria Weyman of WeyMedia share their journey of building a successful bootstrapped company in the FinTech industry.
